  1. Avoid looking at your feet.

  1. Train with fixed lifts.
There are lifts that are too fast when coming at you. You might panic at the sight of an approaching lift and fumble with your skis while loading or unloading. Train with fixed lifts first as they are generally slower. Once you have adjusted and gained confidence in loading and unloading, you will eventually conquer the faster lifts.
  1. Bending your knees will give you more balance.
This also affords you more control, especially when taking uneven terrains.
  1. Keep powder off of your list in the meantime.
